Richard is at his most inspired because he’s developing innovative, creative, progressive and exciting residential and commercial opportunities that people love. Fortitudo is developing many high-profile projects across southern Britain and rapidly expanding, becoming a successful regional developer.
George has been in the property industry since 2003, covering residential and commercial investment and development. He has been involved with some of the south coast’s most substantial retail schemes, dealing with major retailers and institutional investors. At Fortitudo George’s role covers the entire development cycle from land acquisition, planning, construction and sales, with the goal of Fortitudo becoming one of the regions strongest developer.
With over 30 years in the construction industry, in both the UK and Ireland, Mark joined Fortitudo in February 2021 as Construction Director. Having worked on award-winning residential and commercial schemes, he brings his experience to the delivery of the projects and will oversee the construction process in both the main contractor design and build and the inhouse construction contract routes.
Ethan previously worked for Savills within Residential Development. Ethan identifies and secures new development opportunities, working with established agents and approaching land owners directly. Once a site has been successfully negotiated, Ethan works with our professional teams to see the project through the legal process and assists with the preparation of the planning application, ensuring a scheme’s potential is maximised and that the proposal is suitable for the area.
Giles joined the Fortitudo team in December 2020 as Senior QS having worked for over eight years at the national housebuilder Bellway Homes. Giles is excited to bring his housebuilding experience to his new role where his focus will be on the day to day delivery of the construction contract, working alongside contractors and consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
After four successful years at Bournemouth Rugby as Chief Executive, James joins the team as Head of Strategic Partnerships. The role is diverse and encompasses business development, relationship management and marketing. Fortitudo sought somebody in this role with the mission of promoting Fortitudo within the community and as an outward-facing organisation ensuring the impact of the work and projects is meaningful and as the role suggests, strategic.
Amy has previously worked with many established retail brands and has an extensive creative marketing and e-commerce background. Amy’s role at Fortitudo varies from traditional to digital marketing. It is Amy’s role to oversee brochures, flyers, invitations, hoarding, press releases, web, blog, social media, email and events. Amy plans and organises each marketing project from start to finish, writing briefs, working with designers and agencies to distribute content.
Jack is responsible for devising the sales strategies for each of Fortitudo’s developments. Having previously worked as an agent, for both international and national brands, in the upper quartile of the property market, Jack uses his knowledge and connections within the industry to ensure each of our developments are brought to the market effectively and with the correct representation and exposure. He is involved in the advertising of each site through to completion, liaising with solicitors at every step.
Will joined Fortitudo in August 2020 as a Graduate Land Buyer. His primary role is to identify and acquire residential and commercial development sites, working alongside landowners, agents and industry professionals throughout the process. Will gained valuable experience whilst working in London within the retail investment sector upon completion of his MSc Real Estate from The University of Reading, and is currently working towards his APC.
Dan joined Fortitudo in September 2020 as our second Graduate Land Buyer. His role at Fortitudo is to research, acquire and appraise developable land to generate a sufficient land value for clients. Dan gained experience within the construction industry while working towards his degree in Property Development BSc (Hons) from the University of Portsmouth. He now strives to complete his APC within the Royal Institute of Charted Surveyors.
Emma joined the Fortitudo team in April 2021 as PA to CEO and Directors, having previously worked with many recognised hospitality and retail brands. Emma’s primary role is to act as first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and organising events and conferences, ensuring the Chief Executive and Directors are prepared for meetings. Emma also liaises with key stakeholders and ensures the office runs smoothly.
