We’ve had a busy week here at Fortitudo, we’re pleased to share that we have completed on another great site. We are proud to introduce 15 Saltern’s Way in Poole, an astonishing coastal location with views over Saltern’s Marina and Poole Harbour, the site will be developed into three beautiful houses.

We are happy to announce that Fortitudo has completed the purchase on 3.6 acres of industrial land at Magna Park, Bournemouth. Building work will start imminently to create 48 new industrial units.

We’ve had a smashing 2021 with planning granted on 143 units and planning submitted for a further 796 units. During 2021 Foritudo has exchanged on 10 sites with a further 9 sites currently in legals set to deliver 220 units.

2022 is already looking like another huge year!

Vicky has joined Fortitudo from the University of Reading as a Graduate Land Buyer. She has three years of experience in architecture design and will specialise in spatial studies. We are proud to welcome her to the team!

It was great to see the under 9’s at Stars Football Academy in their Fortitudo sponsored kits this weekend! Well done boys, a courageous and motivated team. We were also lucky enough to take a shirt back to the office to proudly display on our wall.

Fortitudo sweep the Property Awards by taking 5 honours, winning in every category they entered.  The winning entries included;

– Residential Development, for Dorset given to Vespasian, Corsica and The Cross in Poole

– Residential Interior Show Home, for South West given to The Grove in Kings Worthy

Blackbird Homes Limited, Fortitudo’s sister company that specialises in smaller, more boutique developments has also won an award in the category of:

– Residential Renovation/Redevelopment, for Dorset with Wilson Court in Poole

Jon has joined the Fortitudo team as Quantity Surveyor. He brings with him over 6 years of experience and will be responsible for the cost management across our developments. He will liaise with contractors and consultants to ensure budgets are kept.

In the final installment of our FJB series Richard Carr discusses how the three developments will improve amenities around the Sandbanks area, benefiting both visitors and residents. These changes hope to restore Sandbanks’ former character.
