Bournemouth’s initial heritage stems back to it being a spa town, very popular with Victorian holiday makers. Owning its prowess as a world-class seaside destinations, the town is very well linked to neighbouring towns including Christchurch, Poole and Wimborne. Just a little further away also sit Southampton and Salisbury.

Bournemouth has five Blue Flag beaches – Alum Chine, Durley Chine, Fisherman's Walk, Manor Steps and Southbourne.
One of the coast’s most iconic piers, you have to take a trip down to Bournemouth Pier to sample some of the best views in town. With the sprawling golden sandy beaches, walk for miles, try your turn at paddle boarding or cold water dips or even grab a wave when the swell is just right.
